It's times like these that it feels like a dangerous thing to ask, "what more could go wrong?".
These past two weeks have been tricky ones - they've been hard on my family and scary for me. A lot of sleepless nights and a lot of worry. Things are picking up now, they're getting better - or at least they have stopped getting worse. One of the hardest parts of dealing with the things that have been happening is that very little of it could have been prevented - it is all inevitable and really there is nothing to be done but let things happen, as and when they will.
As bloggers we are all very careful not to over-share. I like to keep my blog a happy place mostly, because doing so keeps it a source of happiness for me, but it just doesn't feel right not to talk about it when times get really tough. For me lifestyle means the good and the bad.
But I still wasn't going to mention what has been going on because I guess I just didn't know what to say... until I came across this short film this morning that made me feel a bit better - and it made mentioning these times seem like the right thing to do.
The film is a really amazing idea, and if I ever have children I would like to make a similar sort of film one day. It's about change, and dealing with the hard or painful events in life.
I decided to blog about it all and include the film in case someone else needed to watch it like I probably needed to this morning. In case anyone else needs a little help remembering that life gets better, after it's done getting hard.
If you are going through tough times, or if there are tough times ahead for you - I hope this helps.
